Reading

We expect children to read at home at least 3 times or more during the week and their reading diaries will need to be signed by an adult who have listened to them. This will be monitored by teachers regularly. Reading books and diaries need to be brought to school every day.

Once your child has finished their reading book, they need to make a teacher in class aware and this can be changed in our reading section. 

PE

PE will be every Monday and Friday. Children need to arrive to school with their PE kits on which they will stay in for the rest of the day. Please ensure all jewellery is removed beforehand and long hair is tied back. We are unable to provide tape to cover earrings in ears. Children may miss out on their PE lessons if jewellery is left in and cannot be taken out.

Library

Children can take their library books home to enjoy and read. Please ensure library books are read for the next session in order for these to be swapped. Children will be reminded as their date approaches. If a library book is lost you may incur a small charge to replace it.
