The road outside our school is narrow, busy, subject to 20mph limit and it also has restricted parking. Most important - parked cars can lead to children being injured in accidents! Therefore parents are asked not to park or drop off outside the school.

Children cannot be dropped off or collected from the school car park. This is because there have been several near misses. The car park is for the use of staff, contractors and visitors authorised by the school office.

However, there are 2 places nearby in which parents are welcome to park. The Rose and Crown pub have made their car park available to us during school day - morning and afternoon. Parents can then walk their children the 100 meters down the road to the school gates. Also Manor Field Park, off Grange Lane, just past the junction with Uppingham Road, has a car park. The school is just a short walk along the footpath, which brings you out at St. Luke s Church next to the school.

The Rose and Crown have kindly given parents permission to use their car park when delivering or collecting their children. NEVER park in the lay-by or on the zig-zag lines.
