Homework for Year 6's will be set on Fridays and will be due in the following Wednesday. This then gives time for the teacher to check all homework and prepare the next task.

 

Homework Task 1

Task: Should children use social network sites?

Year 6 will need to think of reasons 'for' and 'against' children using social media sites. They are expected to think of 3 reasons for each side of the debate and explain these in full sentences. They could also use research to support their points and add images where necessary.

 

 

Homework Task 2

Set: 09.10.20

Due: 14.10.20

Task: The Yellow Spotted Lizard

Children will be given a copy of their edited and improved version of an information text about the Yellow Spotted Lizard. They have edited and improved this in class with support - now they need to create a leaflet using Purple Mash to type up their improved version. Year 6's will be expected to check for spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes before they hand it in to the teacher. Children can add relevant images of lizards or attempt to draw their own.
